A day in Portugal...
ND - Year 6
The best day ever? The day we arrived in Portugal, it felt like my stomach was in knots that made me feel extremely excited! I felt the warmth of the summer sun on my arms making me feel great and in fact in got me in a very summery mood! I could smell the fresh sea. We arrived at our hotel that was only an eight minute walk away. There was a large hall with a massive fountain that had five piers with two turtle doves at the top gently pouring out water. Later that day we a had a lovely meal out, however it was taking for ages so my dad decided to grab a lot of straws and made one long straw I had to put my drink on the floor it was that long! "Wow that's a lot of straws" My mum exclaimed. Later we went to a theme park we got it all to ourselves because we got a V.I.P pass. There was also a zoo part and there was a show on my mum volunteered to undo the tap on an alligator's mouth. Unfortunately for her it weed down her leg "Great!" mum laughed.
