All aboard for Magic Wish Land!
TR - Year 1
The best day ever started normally, but on the way home from school something strange happened. Me and my brother, Dexter, were about to cross the level crossing over the disused train track when a train pulled up! It looked like a LondonUnderground train, strange for Folkestone! A man jumped out. He was tiny, but his black hat, with springs running down the front and a red ribbon around the middle, was twice as big as he was.
‘All aboard for Magic Wish Land!'
We climbed on board. The train took off into space, and soon we arrived. There was a huge castle surrounded with water. We crossed a drawbridge into the castle, where sweet shops and toy shops were free!
We played all night until the man came back.
‘You can both make one wish, and tomorrow it will come true!'
I wished for a race track. Dexter looked at me and winked.
‘I wish to come back tomorrow.'
The next day our wishes came true. After playing all night, Dexter wished for Lego, and I wished to come back the next day. For three weeks this happened until one day the train and the man never returned.
