Bubble and Gum
EJ - Year 6
‘‘It’s so tight in here.’’ I told bubble, my sister. “I know gum but we’ll be out soon.” She promised, and as if by magic we started to lift up, and travelled forward. “Ouch!!” Bubble moaned pitifully. We heard a loud cling! And suddenly we were travelling again. The terrifying mess we were trapped in started to peel off, then two fat, peach chunks strongly gripped my sides and started to squeeze. Suddenly I found myself being lifted, high in the sky I squealed with joy despite the uncomfortable felling on my sides. Then everything went black……………. “Ha, ha, ha, ha!” I yelled, laughing. (I was at that moment being tickled by rocks in the dark) “How strange it is in here.” I said to myself. Then a large gap opened, I felt cold air push on my back, stretching me. “Huh?” I wondered, the air came faster and faster. I started to stretch...Stretch...Stretch…and stretch some more until I was out of the hole, bigger than it even. Then suddenly POP!
