Snowed in, but still learning at home

02 Feb 2010

With many schools closing or having vastly reduced numbers of children being able to make the journey to school during the worst snowfalls in UK for decades in January 2010, Right2Learn are pleased to report that it was business as ever. In fact, we experienced record levels of parents subscribing to our online Maths and English assessments for primary school children last month, and making significant usage of our resources.
“We saw almost a direct correlation between the increase in numbers of new parents subscribing to our online Maths and English and the days when the weather was at its worst. Just as important, the amount of usage made of our learning resources by children during this period also increased dramatically. It seems many children didn’t just spend all their time sledging and building snowmen, but also continued their learning at home.”
The Right2Learn service delivers easy to access online assessments, which are enjoyable for children automatically marked, so that they provide immediate feedback to parents. Available from just £10 a month, the service enables parents to quickly and effectively enhance their child’s learning at home, in a way which supports the efforts of the school. Most importantly, the service is delivered via the internet, so is widely available to parents and children, whatever the weather!
